The Biggest Pile O' Leaves in the Whole World!

It was a beautiful, but chilly day when I woke up this morning. I really wanted to take a hike in the forest, but I didn't have a back-up adult around, since Morgan had a friend over to spend the night last night. Archie's been wanting to jump in a big pile of leaves ever since they began falling and we were about knee deep in leaves in the front yard. So I thought it would be a fine day to jump in the leaves. Archie helped me rake them into the "Biggest pile of leaves in the whole world" according to him. We had lots of fun pushing each other in the leaves and burying one another. Archie's little friend next door came over at some point and helped too. I took some pictures.

At some point, Archie put a lawn chair next to the leaf pile to jump from the chair into the leaves. Needless to say, I will be re-raking leaves tomorrow.

I meant to mention this in the previous post, but I forgot about it until Phillip reminded me of it. I went to Yoga on Tuesday evening. When I came home, there was a sign taped to our light pole. It said something like this: "If you want to make something, come here, because we've got a lot of junk in the garage." Archie wrote the sign with spelling help from Morgan. It stayed up for about three days, until it got rained down. Phillip had some stuff to go the metal dump, but Archie said he needed it to open up his shop. So everyone: Please. Come get our junk and make something with it. 'Cause apparently we've got lots of it in the garage!
