Christmas Lights Galore! Part 1

On Thursday night we used our free Zoo Lights tickets. It was very, very crowded, but okay. It was kind of neat to see the zoo at night. Some of the animals weren't out, but I'm not quite sure if that was because of the cold or because of it being night. It was Phillip's first time at the Zoo ever, which is kind of odd, since we have the membership and everything. I guess we always go while he's at work or out of town or something. We'll have to make a point to go with Phillip on the weekend or on a vacation day. Here are a couple of pictures I took:

Then we went to the Zoo Shop and tried on hats and funny glasses!

After the zoo lights, we had to get Morgan's car from a parking lot because the starter (or something electrical) malfunctioned. Phillip fixed it right in the parking lot! Fortunately we got it home that night and he was able to drive it Friday.

Friday was full of preparing for our trip to Mobile. A teensy bit of last minute shopping and some groceries for our journey. We left Cincy around 4pm and arrived in Mobile an exhausting 11 hours later. We visited with my parents and my brother before they left for their cruise on Saturday. I noticed the massive number of suitcases for their FIVE day trip. My Dad offered to smuggle us on board in their suitcases. Unfortunately, my Mom packed too much for that. Perhaps she will pack a little lighter next time. But probably not!
