Music Camp

Archie attended Music Camp at the church every afternoon for a week. He had a terrific time and he got lots out of it. He still asks if he can go to Music Camp next summer, and when will it be, and stuff like that. His performance was on a Sunday during church. Here is an action shot:

The kids were supposed to wear t-shirts and shorts, but Archie would have none of that. I know people probably think I make him dress up in his vest, tie and dress pants, but lemme tell ya...it's all HIM!! He says he "likes to look good". So the short pants and t-shirt were out, and I didn't have the heart to argue with someone who likes to look good! I think it's a good thing to take pride in one's appearance, even at the age of six!

Needless to say, his practice cd is getting lots of play-time in the car. There are only about four or five songs, so a thirty or forty minute car ride gets rather tedious after the first set of songs because he wants to hear the whole thing over and over again. He remembers all his choreography and dances to it in the basement when he and Phillip are working down there. So I guess music camp was a huge success!
