Many thanks to my friends for helping me to find the humour in the previous post. And Regular E, you can go right ahead and report me to the FCC for my previous post! I believe I can now laugh at myself and move on and get over my anger at the situation. However, it doesn't change how seriously I take the small amounts of "me" time that I get nowadays! It is my hope that something positive results and we ALL begin to move forward instead of stagnating for yet another year in this particular situation.
Since I am feeling more positive and light-hearted, I will share some pictures I took recently around the house. I know my Southern counterparts are probably feeling that Spring is rather old hat by now. We're just beginning spring here and I'm really excited!
These Hyacinths (I think?) are currently growing in the garden. And boy, do they smell good!

This is the 'purple' tree out back.
St. Patty's Day:
Also on St. Patty's: my neighbour Richard took this and kindly emailed it to me.
We had lunch and went to the park with some friends earlier on St. Patty's day. Here is Lawrence enjoying himself in the sunshine!
Here is our herd of deer that feeds in our backyard on occasion. They let me get pretty close to get this picture!
My little guys asleep while 'sleeping over' in my bed while Daddy was out of town:

Love the pictures...hyacinths are one of my favorite flowers, but I usually get a headache because they are so strong.
I am jealous, jealous, jealous of the deer! That really pulls at my "I wanna live in the country" heartstring...
The boys are adorable...can't help but notice those chunky thighs on Lawrence!
So glad you are finally getting a taste of Spring...it's almost Summer here, lol.
I, like Candy, am seriously jealous of the deer. The bad thing about it is I KNOW I have all sorts of creatures behind my house in the greenbelt that I could view much better without that darned fence there. I don't think HOA would like it too much if I tore it down just to watch wildlife though.
Those baby boys of yours are absolutely beautiful. It makes me just a teeny regretful that I never added on another closer sibling for Summer....too late now. :-)
