Baby Update

For those who aren't on Facebook and haven't already heard, we had an ultrasound two weeks ago. The baby seems healthy and is growing at the normal rate. Our due date was determined to be February 19. Last, but not least, it was determined that we are having a GIRL!

I'm still trying to wrap my head around the last bit of news. Of course, we'll take what we can get! However, I am very familiar with guy stuff right now, having a house full of them. I am having to adjust my thinking to having to comb hair before going places in the morning. When girls pee without the diaper, you have to clean their legs, AS WELL AS the spot they peed in! Just something to get used to!

Lawrence seemed ambivalent about the whole thing. He probably will just be happy to have someone else to pinch! :-) Archie was a titch disappointed because he said, "Well, maybe she'll be a tomboy, then." To which I replied, "Of course she will! In this house full of guys?" Plus, I'm more of a play in the dirt kind of mom than a princess-y pink one. No offense to all the princesses out there. :-)
