Hey there, Mr. Grumpy Gills. When life gets you down, do you wanna know what you've gotta do? Just keep on swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim! ~Dory (Finding Nemo)

Decorating the Christmas Tree

I haven't been up for much blogging lately...things have been quite busy. I do have our Mobile, AL vacation recap coming soon. I didn't take many photos, but it was very nice getting to spend time with family and friends again. Since our return, the kiddos and I had a few days to recuperate and wait for Phillip to come home for the rest of the year!!!! Hurray!!! He's been home and off work and it's been heavenly! Since we will not be returning to Mobile for Christmas, we decided to put up a Christmas tree and decorations. It feels like forever since I've seen my own Christmas stuff so it was kind of fun re-exploring our ornaments. The homemade ones are the best! We have a typical toddler tree--meaning the top half has bunches of decorations and the lower half gets stripped of all the non-breakables just about every day.

Here are the boys cutting off the netting and getting ready to set it up.

I think Lawrence most enjoyed removing the decorations rather than putting them on the tree!

I think he was getting pretty sleepy here. Not drunk. Sleepy.

Completion! Well, almost. The following day, Archie decorated with a bunch of candy canes.

Here is a video of the boys moving the furniture around. Lawrence really enjoyed moving furniture. Or he enjoyed the manly grunt that accompanied it.
