We made it safe and sound back to Cincy around 6 am on Sunday morning. I recently plugged in the new computer and am having issues with the dvd drives, so the software additions and getting it up to speed are a no-go right now. Plus, the old hard drive won't plug in the new computer, so I am having a hard time transferring pictures. Hopefully Phillip will find a compatable computer at his work so I can at least get all my photographs from the past several years off the old hard drive.
We had a great trip to Mobile, despite the stomach bug we shared. We enjoyed our family visits, as well as seeing Janis and her brood, and had a nice visit with Dr. Joe. I wish we could've stayed a bit longer, as I wanted to go to our Mobile church as well as see some of my homeschool buds, but I suppose Phillip needed to get back to work. We'll return down there at Christmas time. I'll post some pics and day-by-day updates asap.
Currently, we are living upstairs because we are finally getting the living room walls and ceiling sheet-rocked (yes, I am making 'sheet rock' a verb) since they were knocked out early last spring. You know...the project that was only supposed to take a week. What's ten months???
