Hey there, Mr. Grumpy Gills. When life gets you down, do you wanna know what you've gotta do? Just keep on swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim! ~Dory (Finding Nemo)

Facebook Statuses--MARCH

MARCH

is feeling quite melancholy today 'cause my folks returned to Alabama. Not looking forward to real life beginning right now. I guess the babymoon is over. :-(
I loved having my folks here after Miss Lydia made her appearance.  I'm assuming it was hormones, or something, but I was even kind of sad when they arrived, because I knew they would have to leave again.  One of the many plusses of their visiting is that I get excellent, free babysitting!  They watched the kids so Phillip and I could have a date, but I cried during the entire date because I was sad that my folks would have to leave again.  How weird is that?  Anyhoo, here are some pictures:

Archie was doing a Circus demo at one of our many malls.

Phillip was trying his hand at spinning plates!

Downtown at the Fountain.

This was at the observation deck of the Carew Tower in Downtown Cincinnati.

Lydia has really brought out the sweet in Lawrence.  Here he is kissing her.  Whether she wants a kiss or not.

Lawrence's self-made bedtime routine is very strict.  Bottle with his special milk, quilt and copious amounts of books!  And you MUST not vary from this routine!

Since we didn't have Lydia in a hospital, there was no one to take newborn pictures.  So we took our own, with the same quilt as a background as Lawrence had in his hospital pictures.

Lovin' these babies!

My parents took Lawrence and Archie to the zoo while they were here!  On the way there, Dad got pulled over by one of Cincinnati's Finest for not using a turn signal.  Law breaker!!!

Instead of a Jack-in-the-box, we have a Kids-in-a-box.

Phillip took Mom, Morgan and Archie to the ski slopes where they went tubing!  Dad, Lydia, Lawrence and I took that opportunity to effectively clean Archie's room with no arguing.

Lawrence enjoying his 'shucker' from Reemie.

is ready for a nap.

------------------------

feeling a bit isolated.

-----------------------

could not be happier about fitting into pre-pregnancy jeans again!!!! Not at the belt notch I want yet, but can get in the jeans without squeezing into them! Hurray!
Unfortunately (or depending on who you ask, fortunately) I have not been able to fit in my pre-pregnancy shirts very well and had to get some new stuff that allows for more room in the chest.  Breastfeeding...a little something for everyone!
------------------------

Two babies sleeping at the same time! Ooops...scratch that. I guess I spoke too soon. :-/

------------------------

is looking forward to NOT cooking dinner. Gotta love the Wed night church dinners and something I don't have to think about today! :-)

----------------------

is procrastinating...

----------------------

federal taxes done. Finally.

---------------------

feels like blowing off school today. Math and spelling...who needs it???

---------------------

is aggravated that people keep snapping up all the pop up campers we're interested in on craigslist before we can get a chance to look at one. :-/

--------------------

enjoyed a much-needed ladies' night out!

-------------------

Um...snow? Really? *sigh* (March 26)

-------------------

feeling more Zen today.

Here are some pictures and a video of Archie's Circus class.  His performance was sometime during March.

I remember when we first moved to Texas Lucas came to visit us. When he left I litterally cried the WHOLE day. I couldn't stop myself. I was consumed with grief...like he was dead instead of just a couple states away.
