I got a call on Sunday morning. One of those calls that you receive and *know* something's not right because that particular person never calls at that time or day.
My parents' house was on fire.

I am so thankful that my parents are okay. I am a live and let live kind of gal when it comes to people's religion and beliefs. However, people that don't believe in a Power higher than themselves don't know the things I know. Archie and I pray every night that God watches over and protects our family.
Yesterday He did.

My eyes well with tears everytime I look at the pictures...so heartbreaking.
I'm so glad that your parents are physically safe...I know that emotionally they must be spent.
It's just stuff, lives are what matters...but still, it's never easy.
Continued prayers for everyone as you start to cleanup and recover...and special prayers for safe travels southward!
I am so sorry. I'm sure it was stressful for everyone involved in more ways than one. I am glad your parents are o.k and my thoughts will be with ya'll during this difficult time.
