For those of my friends and family not on Facebook (and/or not privy to the knowledge yet), we are expecting a surprise addition to the Dutton Clan.
Since giving birth was so much fun last August, I thought I'd give it another go on or about February 2! Yes, it is Groundhog Day...Phillip's all-time favourite holiday. I think he planned it. :-)
We are having an ultrasound in two weeks to be sure the dates are correct.
So, I guess I'd better get busy changing the title of my blog. We're gonna be a bit past four! Archie seems to be looking forward to being a big brother two times over. Lawrence didn't seem to care one way or the other.
The pregnancy is going well, as far as I know. Feeling okay most of the time. I feel a bit green around the gills in the evenings, but not sick. I am experiencing a weird aversion to chicken right now. Which is not good, since we eat tons of chicken because it's relatively inexpensive. I mean, I'd rather eat steak, but who can afford that every day??? So I am gagging inside as I cook chicken almost every night and end up eating the heck outta the vegetables. My other pregnancy symptom is that I am pretty tired, which could be contributing to my lack of updates recently.
The doc at my first prenatal appointment today asked me if he was 'remiss' in discussing contraception after Lawrence was born. My excuse: it took three years to get pregnant with Archie, then six to get pregnant with Lawrence. No worries though...I think I finally have it figured out as to how this happened. For future reference.

Wow! I still can't believe you are gonna have another one! The more the merrier...seriously, I wish I had made my clan a little larger. Much too late for this 45 yo hag though. I am looking forward to grandkids for my next baby fix. :-)
Congratulations!
Will Ned be there? Ned Ryerson? Needle Nose Ned? Ned the head? Come on Buddy!
