We had a bit of a rushed day, because we had T-Ball then our trip to visit Phillip in Paducah, Kentucky. T-Ball was cancelled as soon as we got there because it began thundering, so the kids weren't allowed to play and the game was rescheduled. If I'd known that, we would've left for Paducah a lot earlier!
It is really nice driving a vehicle that I don't have to worry about whether or not we're going to break down. It was an uneventful trip, for the most part, except for the blinding rainstorm about 30 miles outside of Paducah. I remembered that I forgot Archie's swimming suit after the first hour of the trip, so we had to stop in a Walmart to pick up another suit. (I know, Dad...Walmart is still just as terrible as it always has been!) Luckily we found a Spiderman one, so that smoothed over any hurt feelings over my forgetfulness!
The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, so that was the first order of business when we got here. Even before eating! We lasted until 11:30, well after the pool closed and are still having trouble settling down for bed!
Phillip is working night shift, but is getting done at 4:30 am, so we will hopefully be able to do things together after he gets some sleep in the morning hours.
I will post some pictures when we do something cool. Mom...we are staying just down the street from the Hancocks of Paducah and the Quilt Museum!

That sounds good we will have to get together when you have your trip back to mobile. If you want we could just get together at my house, but where ever. What kind of new car did you buy?...........
Well my new plans are I've decided I might go back to school for nursing so wish me luck.
